Fix F1, F3, or F10 error codes and inaccurate oven temperatures with this sensor. Simple DIY replacement takes about 30 minutes with basic tools.
Bought a used Frigidaire 36 inch stove. The broiler didn't come on but the burners lit and the stove worked so I made do for about 4 or 5 years with that. Then the F10 code came up and it wouldn't stop beeping until I unplugged it. I figured the electronics/circuit board was probably bad and ordered a replacement. I was confused about what part to order. The parts list includes "Control Panel" and "Clock - Timer". Turns out the control panels are the glass panel on the front of the stove... Read more

Oven won't heat after self-cleaning? This high-limit thermostat cuts power when temperatures get too high. Moderately easy DIY repair fix.
Online chat here said that the oven sensor should be replaced. I got the feeling that was a bit off, so I went with my gut and ordered the thermostat as well. Replaced the sensor and that didn't fix it. Replaced the thermostat and it worked like a charm! Disappointed that they were overconfident in their answer and it would have taken me more days to fix - but, the products came in quickly (basically, next day) and were correct. Online video for my particular oven was incorrect - but it's... Read more
The Bake Element is an OEM component for Frigidaire wall ovens. It is an integrated heating coil that generates heat through electric resistance when powered. Located near the bottom of the oven cavity, the bake element facilitates heating for various cooking functions like baking, roasting, or warming. This element measures approximately 13 x 11 inches. Symptoms of a bad bake element include:
Causes can be cracks in ceramic sheathing allowing arcing, or mineral deposits coating coils over extended use impeding heat transfer.
This OEM Frigidaire part can also be used on Electrolux, Frigidaire, Gibson, Kelvinator, Westinghouse, and Sears/Kenmore.
First, I took an ohm reading across the elements and determined the bad one, which was failed, open circuit. (Zero continuity) I then replaced the lower heating element of the upper oven. Although the design of the oven and element make it appear that it will just drop down and slide out the front, this is not quite the case. There is not enough clearance for it to drop all the way down. You have to pull the entire double-oven unit out of the wall, separate the upper and lower halves a few... Read more

This control-panel switch restores reliable on/off control of a selected function on your range or wall oven. Replacing a worn or intermittent switch helps ensure the appliance responds consistently when you toggle that function.
I ordered a part to replace the oven door light switch. I got the oven apart easy enough, but when I was ready to install the part, I found the replacement part only had 2 tabs and not the 4 tabs the original one had. I called AppliancePartsPros.com and spoke to a customer service rep who was able to assist. He determined that the replacement part was defective and said he'd ship out another one. While I wasn't enthusiastic about having to assemble and reassemble the oven,... Read more

This is a nut that is used in many microwave ovens. It is typically used to hold interior fan in place. A nut is a fastener that is used to hold two items together or keep one component secure against a surface. Use and time can cause the nut to become stripped, damaged, or broken. If the nut is broken, it will no longer hold the fan in the right location. The nut will need to be replaced. Before replacing this part, the microwave should be unplugged. Open the refrigerator door and remove the cover that goes over the fan. The nut can then be removed using a nut driver. Replace the other parts before using the appliance. This nut is used in microwave ovens manufactured by Crosley, Electrolux, Frigidaire, and Kenmore. It is sold as a single part. This is an authentic OEM replacement part is sourced directly from the manufacturer.
Fix noisy convection fan operation with this motor replacement. Restores quiet, even heating in your oven. Moderate DIY repair in 30-60 minutes.
I replaced it with an new motor-convection from AplliancePartsPros.com. One note of advice: the fan blade unit inside the oven is held on by being tightened counter clockwise and obviously loosened by turning the nut clockwise (lefty loosey/righty tighty does not apply here). Read more
