E James W Wilmington , NC September 29, 2014 Appliance: Frigidaire Frigidaire/Laundry Center GLEH1642FS0 Washer wouldn't run but as dryer did it obviously wasn't a circuit breaker First attempt was to replace the door latch mechanism...didn't fix it. Kept researching and the washer control knob had been hard to turn so it seemed logical that was the problem. Also, at some point the end cap had broken. As it has the main grounding point inside it and as I was taking the control panel apart anyway it made sense to replace it. Holly H Shoreline , WA July 01, 2018 Appliance: Frigidaire Laundry Center GLEH1642FS4 Washing machine won't fast spin during the final spin I knew I had an issue with my washer timer because I had to wiggle the knob to get it to start the wash cycle. I replaced the washer timer and spacer and timer knob and now it works great! I don't have to wiggle the timer knob to get it to start and now the final spin spins fast and efficiently. Read More...
