Description

This refrigerator drain tube channels defrost water from the evaporator to the rear drain pan so it can evaporate. Replace a cracked, missing, or clogged tube to stop interior leaks and ice buildup.

• Routes defrost meltwater from the freezer drain to the condenser drip pan
• Helps prevent pooling under crisper drawers or water on the floor
• Common failure symptoms: water under drawers, ice sheet in the freezer bottom, recurring drain clogs or freeze-ups, dripping at the rear base
• Restores proper drainage when the original tube is brittle, split, or obstructed

What's included: 1 drain tube Install notes:

• Disconnect power; pull the unit forward and remove the lower rear access panel
• Remove the old tube from the drain outlet and drip pan; clear any ice/debris with warm water—avoid sharp tools
• Seat the new tube fully on the drain outlet and position the outlet into the pan; verify flow by pouring warm water down the drain
• Restore power and monitor for leaks as normal defrost cycles resume
