This safety valve controls gas flow to the oven burner. When signaled by the igniter, it opens to allow ignition and helps maintain consistent heat, supporting safe, reliable preheating and baking performance.
- Regulates gas flow to the oven burner under control of the igniter and thermostat/electronic control
- Prevents gas from flowing until proper ignition conditions are met
- Common symptoms: oven won't ignite or heat, intermittent heating, extended preheat time, or weak/unstable flame
- Often inspected when the igniter glows but the burner does not light
What's included: 1 safety valve
