This door hinge kit replaces worn or broken hinge components so the door opens and closes smoothly and aligns with the latch. It restores proper door support and helps prevent sagging, binding, and misalignment. What it does:
I replaced the hinges and hinge mounts. Upon inspection of the mounts, it seems that they had become slightly deformed on the lower portion, where the heel of the hinge applies pressure to the frame.
