Mark R Belle Chasse , LA April 01, 2016 Appliance: Model PLHS67EESBO Broken water switch on freezer door malfunction on circuit board a cracked produce drawer and drawer support Shopped online and found your great website, read reviews and based diagnostics on similarities I saw in other peoples stories. So I was able to choose correctly when replacing the circuit board. As far as the water switch in door, and drawer parts I just replaced them because I was tired of gluing them, and knew that with everything working good again and looking good, that it would be like a Tune up for our refrigerator. John S Heron Lake , MN March 12, 2014 Appliance: Model FSC23F70SBP Broken water dispenser paddle on refrigerator I removed the tray, the screws and circuit board to expose the broken part. I removed the clips that held it in place and the wires to the circuitboard. I inserted the replacement in the place of the broken paddle. The new part required some coaxing, but eventually got it. I reinstalled all the screws securing the unit and snapped the tray in place. Robert D Mount Hope , WV April 06, 2014 The push thing to get water broke A pretty easy fix. I was not careful and the ribbon tape came off of the board. I was able to reconnect easy though. I did not have to pull the unit out just turned it enough to take the 2 screws out so I didn't have to fool with the water tube. Over all an easy fix. Look at other posts for step by step. Gale S Vernon Hills , IL August 16, 2015 Broken water dispensed actuator Very easy to take apart to gain access to the actuator. Very easy to put back together.....except for reconnecting the water tube. The tube is hard plastic and there isn't ANY extra to help make it bend! After trying medical forceps, kitchen skewers, Tootsie Pop sticks all in an effort to try and pull the tube through, I re-read this board and used another's advice and wrapped packing tape around it and left a tail to pull it through. That worked great and it was a simple wrap up after that. I think the problem with the tube comes from the fact that when it's all put together at the factory they must leave extra and cut it off after it's been pulled through.
