Created for use with pressure washer by Generac, this fuel filter is an important component of the machine. A fuel filter has the responsibility of removing dirt and debris found in fuel so that it doesn't pass through to the carburetor. Having a maintained fuel filter in a pressure washer is important since even small particles could reach the carburetor. All fuel filters should be inspected on a regular basis and replaced about once a year.If the fuel filter needs to be replaced, the pressure washer should be placed on a level surface and the spark plug boot needs to be removed. Remove any fuel in the washer and then use a hooked piece of wire to pull out the fuel filter. Take the line in one hand while working to bring the filter out. Once it's out, put the new filter on the fuel line and work it inside. The filter will go into the tank and can be refilled with fuel before replacing the cap. This fuel filter is designed for use on Generac pressure washers. It is a genuine OEM product directly sourced from the manufacturer. It comes as a single individual part.
