Ann G New Albany , MS November 03, 2014 Top element burned out We unscrewed the screws beneath the ceramic top and lifted it up then we took the old burner off making sure we remembered which wires went where we attached the wires for the new element put the top back down and it was fixed . Oh by the way make sure the electricity is shut off before you start the repair.
