Ge WB26T10039 Blower Assembly (Blower Wheel & Housing) OEM Part

I ordered a replacement fan and removed the old one and installed the new one. The job took only an hour because I had replaced the cook top a few months ago and know how to remove most of the parts to get to the fan. The biggest tip I can give is not to force anything. You need to be gentle with dis-assembly and re-assembly.

Replaced blower

I have an older style drop-in stove/oven, so I had to take the door off and lift it completely out of the cabinet space to work on it. Some sites say the blower assembly can be removed from the back, but not on this one. I had to remove the front controls and the screws to lift the top off. I didn't detach any of the wiring harnesses to the burners. Easy removal and install of the blower and thermal fuse. Put it back together and it's back to working just fine. Best to have two people to lift the unit out and steady the top while working inside. Take pictures of things before removing items. I had previously replaced the door lock mechanism and the oven temp probe which are the main reasons for the F9 error code. The blower was the culprit, and I just changed the oven thermal fuse as a precautionary while it was exposed.
