This convection fan assembly circulates heated air inside the oven cavity for more even baking and roasting. Replacing a worn or noisy fan restores proper airflow and helps maintain stable temperatures during convection cooking.
Very easy fix. Turned of power at breaker. Removed oven door by lowering two "keepers" on the hinges for the oven door and sliding the door out of the oven. Removed the trim plate at bottom of oven by pushing it up.. Removed 2 screws that mount to the frame of the cabinet at the bottom that the trim plate hangs from. Then removed 4 screws that hold the oven into the cabinet at either side of the oven. Put two 5 gallon buckets in front of the oven and slid the oven out onto the side-by-side... Read more
This motor drives the oven's convection fan to circulate hot air for even, consistent baking and roasting. Replace a noisy or stalled motor to restore proper airflow and uniform temperatures throughout the cavity.
Replaced the convection fan motor. Read more
This is the convection fan motor for select ovens. It drives the rear convection fan to circulate hot air for more even baking and roasting performance.
I replaced the fan. Read more
Note: Motor only - convect fan WB2X8351 not included.
The motor hummed but the fan didn't turn. Clearly the brushes were burned out. I ordered a new fan, although I had to talk to a human at ApplianceParts because my model was not listed. The part was a perfect fit. The only problem is determining how to remove the over to reach the back, no instructions anywhere online. But trial and error eventually worked. You absolutely need a nut-driver that fits the hex head screws on the oven to remove panels covering the motor, but a cheap... Read more
A single-speed convection fan motor that circulates hot air for more even oven cooking and consistent temperatures. Replacing a worn or failed motor restores convection airflow and helps reduce uneven baking. What it does:
Ordered fan assembly. Not difficult to install at all. Remove the back cover, remove the fan cover inside the oven, remove the motor/fan assembly and put it all together. Easy. Read more
The Convection Motor is an OEM part compatible with GE wall ovens and convection ranges. As the primary component driving air circulation inside the oven cavity, it is responsible for the convection baking and roasting functions.
By circulating warm air around the food at high speed, the convection motor allows for faster and more even cooking without compromising quality. Causes of failure can include excess dirt or debris obstructing the motor shaft or blades, damage to motor wiring from heat, or normal component wear over time.
Symptoms of a bad convection motor include:
This GE OEM replacement motor restores efficient convection performance. It is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and select Kenmore ovens. Replace yours today for reliable cooking power.
This blower assembly circulates air through the appliance to support drying and venting, restoring proper airflow for consistent performance. It replaces a worn or damaged fan wheel and housing to reduce overheating and poor drying. What it does:
I ordered a replacement fan and removed the old one and installed the new one. The job took only an hour because I had replaced the cook top a few months ago and know how to remove most of the parts to get to the fan. The biggest tip I can give is not to force anything. You need to be gentle with dis-assembly and re-assembly. Read more
Tangential blower that moves air through the oven's ventilation and control areas to help keep components cool and vent heat. Replacing a failed blower restores airflow for quieter operation and more consistent cooling around electronics. What it does:
Started getting F9 error code on a regular basis. Could tell one of the control panel cooling fans wasn’t working. Decided to replace both fans and the temp sensor that controls them. Everything works great and the airflow is stronger than ever! Read more
The Blower Tangential 45mm is an OEM part for GE gas ranges. It is the convection fan that circulates heated air within the oven cavity during convection cooking cycles.
Symptoms of a bad blower tangential include:
Causes of failure can be worn bearings, burned out motor, or damage from excess heat over long-term use.
This GE replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore gas range models.
A 45 mm tangential blower that restores directed airflow in heating and cooling cavities to help maintain even temperatures and protect internal components. Fits factory blower mounts and connects to existing wiring harnesses. What it does:
This lower cooling fan assembly circulates air to cool internal components and help maintain proper airflow in the appliance. Replacing a worn fan restores quieter operation and helps prevent overheating of electrical parts. What it does:
The Blower Motor is an OEM part for GE ranges. Within the oven cavity, it circulates air to help distribute heat evenly for thorough cooking.
Causes of a bad Blower Motor include wear from long term use, residue buildup on fan blades inhibiting air movement, or electrical issues such as loose wiring connections or a burned out motor coil.
Symptoms of a bad Blower Motor are:
This OEM GE part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.
This tangential blower moves cooling air through the appliance to protect internal components and the control area from excess heat. Replace a noisy or non-running fan to restore proper airflow and safe operating temperatures. What it does
Replaced the thermal limit switch and blower. The blower had been getting noisy lately and was most likely the cause of the limit switch blowing. Upon removal of the blower it was very stiff when turning by hand. Easy to change the blower - disconnect the power, open the back of the range and three Phillips screws hold the blower in place. Replacing the limit switch was a different story. First, as the limit switch blew during cleaning the oven door was locked shut. With the display dead,... Read more
