Carl V Palos Hills , IL June 23, 2014 Machine would stop for no reason messing with the controls would get it going I had no definite indicator that the problem was with the control board, but it seemed that moving the entire control panel would have an effect. Since replacing the board would essentially replace all of the control function, I decided to replace the board. The machine is only seven years old and we are two seniors with no kids at home. Swapping the board took about ten minutes. The problem appears to be fixed and has been used for two days with no recurring failure. Robert T Lindale , TX January 21, 2016 Appliance: Model GE 57751H3WW It threw water all over the floor on a rinse spin I at first thought there was something small jammed in the drain pump. Noticed the the cold valve was open when it shouldn't have been. This creates an overfill. And the wife was washing on Super Load. I also had bumped the board and the little trans former just popped loose. I started to solder it back when I saw one of the main poles was bune black. I replaced both the water valve set and the control board. I also replaced the hose set with new ones. This washer is almost 8 years old and has never had a problem. Now it's running again, the wife is happy, and I get to rest in thought again.
