This dishwasher control module assembly is the appliance's electronic brain, directing cycle timing and power to the motor, pumps, water valve, and heater. Replace it to restore proper operation when cycles won't start, advance, or the controls are unresponsive.
Turn off power to machine, Take off door panel - 12 screws. hold up door panel a bit and make sure to remove the ribbon from the touch pad to the control module (use some pliers to rock it out of the board). Since I was changing the Module, I just removed the 1 screw that held it in place and it gave me some more room to get my hands in there and remove all the wiring freeing up the board to remove the touch pad ribbon last (I didn't want to tear it because I was not replacing it and after 9... This part is a tactile control assembly kit that is used on a dishwasher. The tactile control assembly is the system that uses touch to make adjustments. For example, the buttons are connected to this tactile control assembly, and when the buttons are pressed, it is activated. A new tactile control assembly kit may be needed if the dishwasher keypad is entirely unresponsive when the buttons are pressed. If this is the case, the dishwasher will not be able to be used at all. The replacement process is relatively easy and takes anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes to complete. A screwdriver will be needed for the replacement. This tactile control assembly is a genuine General Electric part and is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is sold individually. This specific tactile control assembly is compatible with dishwashers that are manufactured by the General Electric brand.

This dishwasher timer controls the timing and sequence of wash, rinse, drain, and dry operations. Replacing a failed timer ensures the machine advances through each stage properly for complete cycles and reliable cleaning results.
I was told by the person who took my order that I could find an instruction video on you tube . So I went there and follow those instructions. The repair went well although I did have a slight problem with the door latch and the soap dispenser lever. They both fell out as I was trying to install the timer, but I went back to the video and although it didn't show how to replace these two parts I was able to see how they were placed and was able to figure it out from there. The job was a complete... Read more
This electronic control module replaces the oven/range control board that manages user inputs, timers/clock and heating cycles so the appliance responds correctly and restores control functions. What it does:
I noticed something was wrong when the dishwasher no longer remembered the last cycle performed. After it finished, it would go to a default cycle. A couple of weeks ago, my husband said it wouldn't start. Then I noticed on subsequent washes, there was a high probability that it would hang at a random part of the wash cycle. I was able to reset it though. The last time it stuck was during the pre cycle, where it drains any water and runs the disposer. It hung there all night! I tried cycling... Read more

This kit replaces both of the dishwasher's primary electronic controls: the main control board and the tactile board. Replacing them together can restore reliable cycle selection and overall operation when control failures occur. What it does
I've ordered new main and tactile board and installed it. Everything worked fine after boards exchange. Ran full cycle, no problems at all. Dis-assembly and installation was really easy, all I needed was Phillips screwdriver and a star tip attachment wrench (I'm always asking myself question why this is done like that? , why can't it be just regular Phillips screw?)
