Gary C Westlake , OH July 31, 2018 GE dishwasher door spring or spring cable was broken Disconnected dishwasher and moved it out from under the counter. Found that the left side door spring cable was not connected to the spring. The plastic end of the cable was broken off. It was a simple fix with the new part, however, why would any manufacture us a plastic part on an important part of a steel cable?
