Ge WB27K10355 Electronic Control Board OEM Part

I found exploded parts view of oven and looked for oven sensor probe and control card parts. I also looked at great videos and read past repair stories. I decided the problem had to be one of the two parts (probe or card) and ordered both. I decided that the probe should be changed first rather than involve a circuit card. I changed the probe and tested the oven and it works again.

Ordered replacement control panel and replaced. Fortunately that was the problem and nothing else. Stove is functioning properly now. Only thing was I didn't know I would need a new plastic overlay. I peeled it off the old control panel, which it was stuck to pretty good over the years and it took some of the white coloring off the edges where the adhesive was. So there is some gray spots around the edges of the display now, but it's not too bad.

The entire control board was replaced. It was quick and easy! The entire repair took a total of 10 minutes, including testing. Be sure to order the new overlay, its permanently stuck to the face of the board.

This was a really easy fix, remove the back upper panel with 4 small nuts, pull 3 wiring harnesses from the original part, remove 4 small sheet metal screws, remove the part, and reverse the process to reinstall. My range is a GE 5 burner with touch pad controls. Be aware you need both WB27K10355 control board and WB27K10264 overlay. The actual replacement took 15 minutes, but an hour to clean the gunk off the hidden surfaces, YUCK.
