Michael K Lakeville , MN February 03, 2017 Appliance: General Electric Trash Compactor GCG1700R0II These front wheels on trash drawer wore out and were not "rolling" any more Simple fix. You have to pull unit out about 6 inches. Remove trash drawer by pulling all the way out and lifting drawer out of track. Unscrew 6 metal screws at bottom to remove 2 flat trim pieces. This allows you to use a 15mm ? socket to remove the nut of frame roller assembly. The rollers are then easily removed. Install new parts in reverse order. Enjoy smooth rolling!
