Ge WB2X3138 Oven Door Gasket OEM Part

The exact part for my oven door was out of production{old oven} and i could not find it at our local appliance parts stores or at G.E. online. Glass was very difficult to replace, but I was able to do it after some trial and error. Replacing the seal was very easy.

We ordered a new one and together with my husband replaced it. all we needed was a torx screwdriver which i had to purchase. other than that....we did it!

The door gasket was a major, the oven is a GE wall unit that was made in 1977. I had to remove the door and completely take the door apart to change this gasket. The bolts to hold it in are internal to the door. You should put a video online to show how to change the gasket on these older units. The bake element, no problem 4 screws and you are done.
