Description

This is the drain solenoid housing for a dishwasher. It secures and aligns the drain solenoid on the pump assembly so the drain valve actuates consistently and the tub can empty at the right time.

• Positions and insulates the drain solenoid on the pump/drain mechanism
• Maintains proper alignment for reliable drain-valve actuation
• Common symptoms of a failed housing: won't drain or drains intermittently
• May present as loud humming from the solenoid or visible cracks/heat damage on the housing

• Disconnect power and water supply before servicing
• Access the pump area beneath the tub; note solenoid, lever, and linkage orientation
• Transfer the existing solenoid and any clips/brackets to the new housing; reuse fasteners
