Pamela B Durham , NC November 04, 2017 Appliance: Model GENERAL ELECTRIC REFRIGERATOR GSHS5KGXCCSS Our refrigerator ice maker auger plastic part that pushes ice forward broke this required us to open the ice maker to retrieve ice cubes. Ordered the part online and when it arrived I followed the online video on how to remove the old auger and install the new auger. I had to review parts of the video several times to make sure I put everything back together correctly. My husband is not mechanically inclined and I take on some of the repairs. It was great not to have to call the repairman to do this as his service call is $95. Thanks for the video and without it I would not have been able to do this so easily. When finished I called my husband in to watch as I tried to see if ice would dispense properly. Big smile of relief when it worked perfectly.
