Edward R Wheaton , IL October 12, 2020 Appliance: Model GE STACKABLE WASHER Washer not spinning or agitating. Super easy. Was quoted $400 for repairs. This is a 30 min job max. The most difficult part was laying on the floor to access everything. All I needed to do was remove the front cover held on by two hinges. I removed the belt using a screwdriver and just pried it loose. The motor itself was held in by two bolts. Loosen those and the motor came down. Take the pulley off the old motor, secure on the new motor. Install new motor by screwing in the two bolts. Put the belt back on and you are done.
