Description

This pulley set screw secures the washer's drive pulley to its shaft. Replacing a stripped or missing fastener restores a solid pulley connection to help prevent belt slippage, noise, and spin or agitation issues. What it does:

• Locks the pulley to the shaft to prevent sliding or wobbling
• Helps maintain belt alignment and power transfer
• Can help when the pulley feels loose, the belt squeals or slips, or spin/agitation is weak or intermittent
• Replaces a damaged, stripped, or missing pulley set screw

Install notes:

• Disconnect power and turn off water before servicing
• Access the drive system; remove the belt if needed to reach the pulley
• Align the pulley with the flat on the shaft, then install and tighten the set screw with the correct hex/Allen key—do not overtighten
• Reassemble and test
