David W San Ramon , CA April 02, 2015 The knobs that came with my ge cafe series stove were plastic and were complete crap! 5 out of 6 of them had split and were not turning the metal pegs inside properly I bought the replacement knobs from Appliance Parts Pros.com and they were much better knobs that what originally came with the unit. They are actually metal and the plastic posts that connect with the range are a much higher grade plastic. To be honest I think the stove works better than it did when it was new. Some of the original knobs may have been broken when we purchased the unit. Replacement took under 5 minutes for all of the knob. Oh....and by the way....they appear to be the same knobs you can purchase elsewhere but these guys sell them for about half the price!! The parts arrived in 2 days. Rose M Philadelphia , PA February 06, 2015 Broken ill fitting plastic knobs Ordered new knobs for all 6 burners. They look and feel great. Although it was costly to replace them, I will no longer have to worry if the gas is on or off!!!!! I will never buy another GE product, however, Appliance Part Pros were very helpful and compassionate. Love my new stainless knobs, in spite of disliking GE for their original shoddy plastic knobs! Sharon W Centennial , CO November 13, 2015 Appliance: Model GE CAFE SERIES GAS. RANGE Needed to replace original knobs on range The old knobs are plastic maybe seven years old . They are cracked at the point of attachment. The metallic material on some was bubbled and did not look good. I was afraid because of them being loose they may be accidentally bumped and turn on the gas. I felt they were a hazard. Also,with the price of the range I feel that GE could have included an upgraded knob. The new knobs and the service I received from AppliancePartsPros was EXCELLENT !. Thank you ! Dorthy K Burlington , WI November 14, 2015 The knob for the lower oven of my ge cafe range broke when taking it off to clean I ordered a new one but you sent the incorrect knob the first time so I had to send it back and reorder it again. This time the correct one was sent and it was an easy fix put the new one on and I first added a little WD 40 to that it will come off easier the next time I want to clean it. I did have a problem pulling the broken stem piece of the old knob off of the stove so I had to get help for that. Read More...
