Scott B Chelmsford , MA June 22, 2026 Appliance: General Electric Dishwasher PDT715SMN0ES Dishwasher would stop at the beginning of the cycle while trying to drain any existing water before starting to add water for the cycle I had previously removed and cleaned the drain pump and water flow/level sensor. It seems that was a one trick pony. I was able to easily identify and order the parts related to this part of the dishwasher cycle from the site. They arrived when expected, fit perfectly and the dishwasher works again. I also took the time to remove and clean the drain hose and the port on the disposal that it connects to. I also cleaned the inside of the tub and the upper rack rails. The drain pump arrived with the small tab that secures the electrical connection broken off and moving freely inside its box. This did not impact the usability of the part but it might be helpful to wrap the pump in small bubble wrap or similar. Read More...
