Peter H Hinesburg , VT June 29, 2014 The old ge dishwasher spray arm tabs had broken off The replacement arm arrived promptly. Removing the old spray arm hub was very difficult by hand, plumbers wrench, or adjustable wrench. However, by inserting a screwdriver trough the two opposite holes where the tabs had broken off, it is relatively easy to unscrew the old hub. Richard H Cooks , MI April 20, 2014 The dishwasher was not cleaning the dishes i tried to remove the spray arm assembly and broke one of the thin plastic "locks" thus i had to relace the part I found the correct part quickly and easily. In the past, sometimes it was difficult to find the correct part, or because of diagrams, etc., I was not certain I had the right part. This is the first time I have used Appliancepartspros.com and after a brief search, I knew I had the correct replacement part. I ordered it, it came, and I installed it. Thanks. I also cleaned out the "sump." My major problem was the fact that I am 79 years old, and have trifocals. Kneeling on the floor and reaching around the open door to work in the back of the dishwasher would have been much easier for a more agile person. But I dood it!! (I used padded knee guards to ease the pain.) Read More... 17 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers, Wrench Set

Replaced it by inserting a long screw driver horizontally through the clip holes and unscrewing old one. Screwed in new one by hand. Took less than 5 minutes. Maryanne G Waverly , NY December 09, 2016 Appliance: Model NAUTILUS PORTABLE DISHWASHER Cracked spray tower on spray arm assembly I had attempted to glue the crack a couple of times. I kept looking at it, thinking it has to be an easy fix. There's not much to it. I looked up the video on broken spray arm and it was just as easy as I thought. I was just having some trouble figuring out how the spray arm assembly came apart. All I had to do was unscrew it,using a screwdriver as a little bit of leverage to get the assembly to move. The dishwasher is 16 years old & it just needed a little more leverage to come off. For $35 and 5 minutes of my time, I had the spray arm assembly replaced and the dishwasher was up and running again. It only took a couple of days for my part to arrive. Much better than paying $700 for a new dishwasher whose only problem was a broken sprayer tower.
