How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2634795 / WB30X354 Surface Element, 8"

Turned off the breaker that provided power to the range top, removed the old surface elements, cleaned up the range top completely and installed the new elements. Took three hours to clean up the range top, forty five minutes to install the four elements. Clean up was the hardest part of the project. 

I replaced all of the burners in the 1955 GE cooktop. You replacement parts fit perfectly! 

Was able to order the correct part for a 40+ year old GE electric range from you folks which was great. The part arrived quickly and I was able to install it without much difficulty. 

We took the burner apart piece by piece, and documented how it was put together. We ordered the new part and replaced the burner. It was an easy fix, my daughter and I did it together. When we ordered the part on the internet your employee was very knowledgeable also, very helpful. He was terrific. The stove is a 1969 GE double oven and I have no intention of replacing it any time soon. They don't make products like that anymore. I am an avid cook and have raised a family and I still make 2 to 3 meals a day. I love my stove!!! 

Ordered parts and replaced. The burner element came with all parts necessary for replacing. 

Removed and replaced each, one at a time. 

I have a GE J426003WH11 (this site does not have record of that model range. another site has it at J426*03. Nevertheless, I was able to locate the correct parts and purchase them here. I successfully replaced all burners - very intuitive once I figured out how to pull one off. The new parts mirrored the old perfectly. I also replaced a 6 button burner switch. The new part was an exact fit and is working great! 

Replaced defective Surface Element 

Replaced the 6" burner and the 8" in front and the drip pans on under all 4 elements. 

Ordered new burners and installed them. Amazed that you still carry these parts, we have a 55 yr. Old stove, still running.
