Description

This dryer timer controls the length of the drying cycle and directs power to key circuits. Replacing a worn timer restores reliable cycle advance and proper shutoff so the dryer doesn't run too long or stall.

• Advances the dryer through the selected timed cycle and turns it off at the end of the set time
• Routes power to the drive motor and heating circuit through internal switch contacts
• Coordinates cycle selection via the control knob attached to the timer shaft
• Failure symptoms include: cycle not advancing, running continuously, won't start on certain settings, or intermittent/no heat

What's included: 1 timer assembly Install notes:

• Disconnect power before servicing; if gas, also shut off the gas supply
• Access the control panel and remove the rear cover to reach the timer
• Photograph/label wires and transfer them one by one to matching terminals on the new timer
• Mount the timer securely, align the shaft, reinstall the knob/dial, and test all cycle positions
