Description

This transmission pulley mounts on the washer's transmission shaft and is driven by the belt to power agitation and spin. Replacing a worn pulley restores smooth belt tracking, reduces noise, and helps the tub move correctly.

• Mounts on the transmission shaft and transfers motor power through the drive belt

• Disconnect power and wear gloves; safely tip or raise the washer for bottom access
• Remove the drive belt, then the pulley's retaining hardware; install the new pulley and secure hardware
• Reinstall the belt with correct routing; replace a worn belt at the same time
• Spin the pulley by hand to ensure free movement and alignment before testing
