Description

This gas valve controls fuel flow to a cooktop or range burner so the burner ignites and holds a steady flame. Replaces a worn or failed valve to restore normal burner operation and safe ignition. What it does:

• Regulates gas flow to a single surface burner so the igniter can light the flame
• Stops gas flow when the control is off to prevent unintended flow
• Common symptoms: burner won't light, weak or no flame, or a burner that won't stay lit
• Works with the range's existing igniter and control knob to modulate flame
