This self-tapping screw is used to attach various parts to the engine housing of medium sized gasoline powered engines, in particular yard tools such as tillers, snow blowers, yard tractors, riding mowers, power vacuums, shredders, and chippers. It is used in over 150 different gasoline powered engines. Screws such as these are used particularly when a device is going to receive a great amount of vibration and stress while the engine is running and rotating tools are engaged. Such devices sustain a great deal of wear over time and the parts subject to replacement will eventually fail and need to be replaced. In such cases, it is wisest to replace the attaching hardware such as housing screws as well, because it is a self-tapping screw. Screws of this type are designed to forge a tight bond between the metal pieces they are securing together, but once loosened, they should ideally be replaced with new hardware. Make sure when replacing these screws to use genuine OEM parts like these screws. These replacement parts are manufactured to be identical to the original pieces. This hex screw is compatible with the following brands: MasterCut, Yard-Man, Yard Machine, Montgomery Wards, MTC, Murray, Bolens, Craftsman, Turf King, Troy Bilt, Cub Cadet, Huskee, Toro, and Ryobi.
Auger shaft for snow blowers that won't throw snow or makes grinding noises. Replaces worn or damaged 24-inch auger drive shaft. Moderate difficulty repair.
Usually ships within 4 - 14 days
If your snow blower won't throw snow or runs roughly, the impeller shaft may be worn or damaged. This rotating component drives the impeller assembly.
Fixes auger drive issues and grinding noises in snow blowers. This thrust collar supports proper auger rotation and prevents metal-on-metal wear.
This grease plug is a genuine OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is found on snowblowers and other outdoor yard machines on the gearcase assembly, which houses the auger gear. The grease plug seals the oil port on the gearbox. This keeps lubrication inside the gearbox and is the access point for adding more when needed. If this plug is lost, the gearbox's oil could leak out, and contaminants could get into the gearbox.Lubricate the contents of the gearbox before installing the new grease plug. Locate and remove the two screws on the side to drain the gearbox. Install the grease plug in the bottom. Refill the oil using the vent hole. Continue filling until oil is coming out the top side screw. Close everything back up, and the machine is ready for use. To prepare the equipment for long storage, remove the grease plug and check the oil level. If it is not to the top, add more lubricant before sealing the grease plug. This grease plug is made of durable black molded plastic and is sold as an individual unit. It is compatible with snowblowers and snow throwers manufactured by Ryobi, MTD, Yard Machines, Troy-Bilt, Bolens, Yard-Man, Cub Cadet, and Husky.
Oil seal prevents leaks on snowblower worm shaft and bearing flange. Replace when you notice oil leaking from the engine area. Verify fit with your model.
Flange bearing for snow blower auger and drive systems. Replace if you notice wobbling, grinding noise, or rough rotation. Verify fit with your model number.
Flange bearing supports rotating shafts in snow blower drive systems. Replace if worn, noisy, or causing wobble. Verify fit with your model number.
Replacement auger shaft for snow throwers. This hardened steel shaft connects and drives the auger assembly. Order a new shaft if yours is bent or damaged.
Snow not throwing properly? A worn auger shaft prevents the auger from turning effectively. This shaft restores proper rotation for smooth snow removal.
