Genuine Mtd part

A wing knob is an essential but often overlooked piece of equipment used on many gasoline-powered lawn tools. On snowblowers, this versatile connector is used to adjust the exit chute. The knob handle is easily gripped and made of durable plastic, so when wearing mittens or thick gloves, one can still grasp and turn the wing knob. On many lawn mowers, the wing knob is used to secure and adjust the handle to the mower or, with mowers that have folding handles, to lower and store the handle for ease of transporting the mower. While it does not seem that one would ever need to replace a wing knob, these fasteners may be lost when mowers are moved from one lawn to another or when the mowers are being stored until the next growing season. On rare occasions, the threads in a wing knob can be stripped if they are not turned tightly enough when first fastened after unbending mower handles. These devices are inexpensive and virtually universal, so it is wise to keep an extra wing knob on hand in case one becomes lost. The wing knobs fit Yard-Man, Troy-Bilt, Craftsman, Bolens, and Yard Machine mowers and snowblowers. Made of durable plastic, these OEM knobs are genuine manufactured replacement parts that perfectly match the originals.

Genuine Generac part
By: Generac
Part Number: 0G9058
This fuel shut off knob is an authentic OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer for use on Generac generators. The fuel shut off knob is attached to the fuel shut off valve that is used to stop the gas from flowing to the generator. This is a critical part of extending the life of the generator. The valve should be shut off after use so that gas does not settle in the fuel system. The ethanol in gasoline can damage the system if it is sitting for extended periods. Over time, the fuel shut off knob may become cracked or broken, and the valve's shaft will not be able to be turned. Use a screwdriver and remove the screw holding the shut off knob onto the shaft of the shut off valve. Pull the shut off knob straight back, and it will disengage and come off. Slide the new knob onto the shaft and push to secure it. Insert the screw from the original knob and tighten it. This fuel shut off knob is a black plastic part that is sold individually. It does not come with a screw. This knob is designed specifically for Generac generators.
