This replacement part is a brush holder assembly intended for use in generators. This is a genuine replacement part made by Generac Generators. Brush holders in generators are use as the connecting piece between stationary wires and other moving parts. This is an important part as they conduct the electric current inside the machine so it is able to operate smoothly.A new brush holder assembly might be needed if the machine is unable to start or if it stops abruptly during use. This vibration mount grommet is used on generators. The purpose of this part is to dampen the vibrations and reduce the shock inside of the generator. These grommets act as a cushion between two parts.New vibration mount grommets may be needed if there is excessive vibration with the generator. This vibration may cause an increase in noise from the unit. The user may notice clunking or banging sounds if these parts are not effectively dampening the engine's vibrations. Upon inspection, there may be physical damage to the black or silver portions of the part, in which case the part will need to be replaced.
