Let there be light! Easy change out and what a difference light makes! I had waited so long I got used to the fridge having only the top light and after changing out the bulbs -- well it is so good to see what is in the back of the fridge again! Just remove the plastic protector, easy as pie to do, and unscrew the bulbs and replace them! Read more

• Leaking

I took all the food out of the fridge, and tilted the refrigerator 30degrees to the left (if looking straight at the fridge). I unscrewed the cardboard backing, and moved the drip tube from the drain pan. I unscrewed the 4 screws for the drain pan, and the 2 hex screws holding up the metal plate on the left side (becuase there is a lip on the metal plate that holds the pan in). Then I could slightly pull down on the metal plate and pull the drain pan out. Then popped the new drain pan in. Read more

I went in through the lower back of my Whirlpool bottom-freezer refrigerator, found a duck-bill end on the existing drain tube, and removed it. Less than a cup of water was released into the evaporator pan. I didn't need the drain tube I bought - and replacing it would have involved getting into the interior wall inside the freezer, which would have been a LOT more work.
