Description

Chainsaws may create a great deal of heat and friction, but the oil pump system prevents trouble. When using a chainsaw, it is necessary to use a specialty chainsaw bar oil. This is poured into a reservoir, and as the throttle is engaged, it cues a pump to distribute oil out of a port and on to the bar. From there the oil is distributed across the chain, which eliminates or greatly reduces friction and heat. The use of the oil pump is crucial, and this oil pump kit is a full replacement for times when a chainsaw is not getting adequate oil on the bar. This OEM replacement part includes the pump, housing, lines, and hardware necessary for installation. It works with a long list of brands, including Poulan. Craftsman, Husqvarna, and others.
