Husqvarna Pruner Cap, Lid & Cover

This is a replacement oil cap for a variety of small gasoline-powered tools they build. These devices include power saws, chainsaws, trimmers, and pruners. The oil cap is tethered to the oil tank, granting easy access to the engine oil for filling or replacement while preventing outside contaminants from getting into the oil basin and, thus, the crankcase. While the cap is not a moving part, it is one of the most exposed pieces of this work equipment. As such it collides with multiple heavy objects such as other tools, trees, cement structures, and truck beds. This type of wear and tear can cause the interior threads of the cap to warp so that the cap cannot be closed tightly. The cap can also be damaged so that it leaks. For safety reasons as well as for the proper operating condition of the equipment, a damaged oil cap should be replaced immediately. Make sure when removing the old cap that the tether is completely freed from the power tool, and make sure the new tether is properly attached.
