This oven light lens gasket seals the lens to the oven liner, helping keep heat, steam, and grease out of the light housing. It maintains a secure fit for the lens and protects the bulb and wiring.
- Creates a heat-resistant seal between the light lens and oven cavity
- Helps block heat, steam, and grease from entering the light assembly
- Stabilizes the lens/retainer so the lens sits flush and secure
- Common signs of failure: torn/brittle gasket, lens feels loose, condensation or grease inside the lens, or scorching around the light opening
What's included: 1 light lens gasket Install notes:
- Disconnect power at the breaker and allow the oven to cool completely before servicing
- Remove the lens retainer and lens to access the gasket; note orientation before removal
- Seat the new gasket evenly around the opening, then reinstall the lens and retainer without overtightening
- The lens sits flush and the seal is even after reassembly
