Completely disassembled the washing machine. Found that water leaked past the rear tub gasket causing the inner tube bearing to corrode. Replaced both bearings and tub gasket. Inner bearing was the cause of the problem but I replaced both bearings and tub gasket. Read More... The project wasn't too difficult, it just took awhile taking everything apart. He also had a real hard time getting the old bearings out.
