Michele P Mayville , WI January 07, 2020 Appliance: LG Washer WM3885HCCA Washing machine was making loud noise that sounded like an engine running and we believed this was caused by a bad bearing LG Washing Machine WM3885HCCA I searched the Appliance Parts Pros "Get Repair Help" tab, typed in the LG washing machine model number (WM3885HCCA), watched videos and searched for the parts shown on the diagrams of my LG washing machine. After finding parts, I confirmed on both the Appliance Parts Pros site and LG site that the parts I selected were correct. I highly recommend using the LG site . I was able to type in the original part number from the Appliance Parts Pro site and LG directed me to the most current part number. This helped to ensure I was ordering the correct item numbers. Ordered MAP61913708 (AP5977997) Tub Bearing MAP61913709 (AP6029046) Ball Bearing 4036ER4001B (AP4437757) Seal MDS62058301 (AP5202013) Tub Gasket Appliance Parts Pros had the parts in stock, reasonably priced, and delivered on time. Don't waste your time calling local appliance shops as they were not helpful, did not have parts in stock, and charged the same or more than Appliance Parts Pros! Parts arrived and we followed the video to dis-assemble our LG washer. I recommend 2 people for the dis-assembly and assembly. Some of the parts are heavy and not easily accessed. There were a few extra screws in our machine (ex. step 1 removing top lid) so if your having issues don't hesitate to look for and remove a few more screws. For each step in the disassembly process, I placed the hardware in a plastic zip lock bag. Each bag was labeled with the location from which parts were taken and sequenced 1-15. This labeling help dramatically with the re-assembly. After dis-assembly we cleaned everything and started the re-assembly. Struggled a little bit with re-assemble of the hoses to the tub, but learned if someone tilts the tub so it is level with the floor, it was easier to square up the hose and tighten the clamps. I couldn't be happier with the results! Our LG washer is quiet and running like new. Thank you Appliance Parts Pros!! Daniel H Lynn Haven , FL August 24, 2019 Appliance: LG Washer WM8000HWA Started to be loud especially on the spin cycle sounded like a freight train but there was no appreciable play or movement in the inner drum Followed the video! Which was very helpful. The shaft was VERY difficult to free from the bearings ... took the heat, penetrating oil, and a sledgehammer. Be ready for that to take a while and to have to hit the shaft a LOT harder than you think you should. The old bearings were also difficult to remove from the outer tub. Once all the old parts were out, seating the new bearings and putting the whole thing back together was relatively simple. In my case, the seal was compromised and the inner bearing was rusty. Rusty enough to make noise, but not so far gone as to allow movement/play. Outer bearing looked/felt fine...but replaced since I was in there anyway. With new bearings/seal drum rotation was silent. John H Cicero , NY March 31, 2022 Appliance: Kenmore Washer 79641073310 Sounded like a freight train when on spin cycle. Replaced the bearings, seal, spider gear, and tub gasket. A little tough getting the spider gear shaft off bearings. Wish I bought the bolts to secure the spider to the tub, had to heat them to get them loose, but all in all, followed the video steps and it went smoothly. Scott V Green Bay , WI November 23, 2021 Appliance: LG Washer WM8000HVA Noise I watched the video step by step. Took the washer completely apart and reassembled exactly how video said. The video is the life saver. I called 3 appliance repair company’s ,and not one wanted to put bearings in our 5 year old washer. We paid $1700 and they said the labor was more than washer was worth. Thank god for your company. I was able to chat to make sure I had the right parts in my cart. Ordered them at 2:00pm and they where delivered the next day at 3:00 pm and I had the washer going that night. Very satisfied! Read More...
