Billly B Trinidad , CO January 02, 2016 Appliance: LG Dishwasher LDF9932ST The main reason for the repairs was the drain hose on the dishwasher was leaking due to cracking in half I remove the dishwasher laid it on it's backside, took off the bottom panel everything was easy to access. while I had the dishwasher out I just decided to replace the motor as well, I've noticed in the past the motor had been making some abnormal noises.Only reason I knew it was the motor making noise is because I own the same dishwasher, the repairs I just made were on my moms dishwasher, she's owns the same exact dishwasher as I do. After three years of owning my LG I had to replace the motor because it completely went out and it sounded like hers was doing the same. But as for why the drain hose cracked in half that's still a mystery... All in all it has been a decent dishwasher but for the price and the repairs that had to be made on both I won't be purchasing anymore LG dishwashers, but at least LG has made them easy to work on...!! I thank Appliance Parts Pros for offering these parts that were very reasonable priced, the availability, and the shipping options. I will definitely be using Appliance Parts Pros for all my appliance needs and I highly recommend them to anyone. Todd B Sumas , WA July 24, 2016 Appliance: Model LDF7920ST Main pump not working LG Canada does not allow you to purchase parts which forced me to order in the US. I found that LDF7920ST and LDF7932ST are the same for most parts. I replaced the motor assembly and impeller which made a significant difference. All in all not a hard job. Read More... Scott M Berwick , ME October 21, 2022 The dishes weren't getting clean. Fix was super easy (shockingly so)... I had to replace the filter, but when I did so I noticed that the gasket was cracked and I also broke one of the screw holes (for lack of a better term) in the Inner Pump Housing. So I ordered both. Only need a set of screwdrivers and about 30 minutes. Quick thanks to how quickly they shipped it out. I ordered it on a Monday and received it the next day. Read More... Jim R Richardson , TX November 10, 2021 Appliance: Model DIVERTER MOTOR ASSEMBLY 4681ED3001D / AP5243567 Dishes on the bottom shelf of LG dishwasher were not getting clean. The bottom spray arm of the LG dishwasher was not working. Replacing the small and inexpensive diverter motor that channels the water to upper and lower spray arms fixed the issue. It was a quick and easy change. The motor was easy to get to after pulling the dishwasher out of the cabinet. There are many videos on line showing how to replace this motor. Also replaced the switch that monitors the motor position. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes Tools: Adjustable Wrench, Screwdrivers
Muqeem M South Grafton , MA April 24, 2023 Appliance: LG Dishwasher LDF6920WW Dirty water was flowing back into the tub. Found check valve damaged My drain hose ruptured and when I went in to replace the hose, I found a piece of the check valve stuck in it. When I went in to confirm if that was indeed the check valve, the inner pump housing tabs broke as the plastic had become brittle over the years. So what started as a simple repair turned into a project. Fortunately, AppliancePartsPros.com had all the parts I needed, and that too at very reasonable prices - OEM parts at non-OEM prices, what a relief! Items were shipped really fast and I got them within a day or two. The replacement was very easy as AppliancePartsPros.com had video tutorials that showed step-by-step how to replace the housing and the check valve. I think the whole process took me maybe 15-20 minutes. Quite honestly, I am extremely pleased with the service from AppliancePartsPros.com - from the video tutorials to getting OEM parts within a couple of days. I could not ask for anything more. Thank you Appliance Parts Pros! Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers
