Rhyne K Jensen Beach , FL May 16, 2018 Appliance: LG Dishwasher LDF7561ST Error code oe each drain cycle would start and stop with faint squealing noises; not fully draining at end of cycle. First determined drain discharge hose was clear. Turned of power to dishwasher. I did not find it necessary to remove the dishwasher. I simply removed the lower service panel at the floor and was able to easily remove the defective pump, unplug it, replace the small rubber check valve flapper before the pump inlet and reinstall the new pump assembly. The dishwasher surprisingly cleans and runs quietly like new again although I found no excuse for the pump failure as it is well designed. Never allow broken glass remain in the filter sump. A shop vacuum is useful to empty the sump. AppliancePartsPros.com promptly sent the correct parts as always. No hassles. Hint: the larger spring clamp is difficult to compress and position so offset pliers were useful. Scott S Littleton , CO December 17, 2018 Appliance: LG Dishwasher LDF7551BB Continuous loud droning noise during operation I suspected the 'circulation pump' to be the culprit. I could not find a 'circulation pump' so I deduced via the picture schematics it must be the 'casing assembly, pump' I found on the website. I have heard there have been issues with the 'drain pump' so I also ordered the 'case assembly' on this site which is an odd name for the drain pump. Boxes came with just the part inside no instructions or other info. This was fine as I have been diy repairing things my entire life. I made sure my parts were the right general shape and appearance and I set to work and began disassembly of the dishwasher. This required removing the dishwasher from under the cabinet first. These types of remove and replace repairs are generally simple, just remove things and replace them back when done. One thing you need to do with the Casing assembly is transfer over what appears to be the thermometor unit. Unscrew the center nut which loosens it's hold and pull it out. I used two flathead screwdrivers to get an even pull on the thermometor. I also lubricated the gasket with crisco when I reinstalled it into the new casing assembly as I could tell it would not want to go without some lubrication as it is a tight fit. Screwed in all of the screws, hooked the wiring back up, hooked the plumbing back up and reinstalled it under the cabinet. First tests are successful, dishwasher is again quiet as a whisper. Roger L Sioux City , IA February 09, 2016 Appliance: Model LG DISHWASHER The drain pump on my lg dishwasher wore out After an online assessment with an LG Tech, I found Appliance Parts Pros. online and I couldn't find the part so I connected with your help desk through the Chat your site offers. Danny helped me find the part, answered a couple questions and I ordered the drain pump. This was an easy fix. A Phillips screwdriver, a 5/8 socket and a pair of pliers was all I needed. Once the dishwasher was removed and I could lay it down on the backside, The old pump was removed and the new pump was installed in less than 10 minutes. The pliers were for those tensioned hose clamps on the drain pump. Mike L Lebanon , OH April 13, 2020 Appliance: LG Dishwasher LDF7551ST Drain pump on my lg dishwasher went out I replaced the pump and backflush valve. I was able to replace both by just removing the kick plate and pulling out the dishwasher a little from under the counter so I could tilt the front end up and access the clamps better. Just two hoses and one electric connector. Be sure to have a large towel to soak up the water from inside the hoses.
