Stefan H Ponte Vedra Beach , FL March 15, 2019 Appliance: LG Dryer DLE1501W Sheets broke cover guide with filter and sensor I have order three parts, guide filter, cover guide, and sensor assembly. My previous cover guide was from two parts, when sensor assembly was one of them. New part ( guide cover ) was all in one piece so I just transfer old metal part of sensor to new cover guide and I don't need that sensor assembly anymore. I have ordered all three parts overnight by Fedex, ordered 15 min before 5pm, so next day it was here. Dryer is fixed, I'm happy. Richard F Palm Harbor , FL November 23, 2018 Through 6 years of using the gas dryer it kind of dried it out. I replaced the pieces and all the lint was really easy to take the vacuum cleaner extension for the hose and clean out all the stuff inside which with any dryer you should be clean them out once a year. I didn't order the sensor strips that were on the one piece, but they were easy to take off and put back into the new piece saved a bunch of money. Chuck G Douglas , MI October 01, 2022 Appliance: LG Dryer DLG1502W The lint trap guide cover cracked on dlg1502w LG dryer. The lint trap guide cover was cracked on our LG dryer which sees pretty heavy use at our rental cabins. AppliancePartsPros.com got us the replacement part in about 48 hours. They didn't have the lowest price, but they made the best assurances of a quick delivery while not having to pay for expedited shipping. I had double-checked part numbers (and prices and shipping time estimates!) at a number of other sites. All listed the same part number but, with it in hand, I could see it wasn't exactly the same item despite having the correct part number. On our unit, the guide cover and the moisture sensor are in two separate pieces. On the replacement part, everything was one piece. In fact, the image of the replacement part shows the relief for the sensor holder, but it's not there on the actual item. I was dismayed at first, but quickly realized I could pull the sensor strips from the original separate sensor holder and install them in the replacement guide after which everything screwed right into place. The original guide had snagged clothing and cracked right where the separate sensor holder joined it, so I suspect LG may have improved the design by making it all one piece. Anyhow, we were quickly back in business with a pretty simple and inexpensive repair. Doug A Cape Girardeau , MO January 22, 2025 Appliance: LG Dryer DLE1101W Screen keeping debris out of dryer vent broke into pieces Ordered new plastic screen. The screen design changed. The moisture sensing bars are now built in. Original bars were rough looking so I also ordered two new ones. Consulted your guide to make sure new the part was compatible with my LG dryer. It was. Then I followed the instructions in your diy how to video. The electrical clips for the sensor bars were a little tough to remove. Careful work with pliers helped remove them. 9 year old dryer works like brand new. I will use your service again. Read More...
