Fixes water leaking from door vent during wash cycle. This blower motor assembly distributes heated air during drying. DIY repair takes 20-30 minutes.
The solenoid that opened the air vent for drying was broken so it was open during the wash cycle allowing water to escape into the air duct. Found the part at SearsParts and AppliancePartsPro, and Sears was $15 more expensive. I ordered on Friday from AppliancePartsPro and selected standard shipping and the part arrive the next day (Saturday). Amazing service. AppliancePartsPro will be my first stop in the future. Fastening nut secures panels, brackets, and trim on dishwashers. Replace if stripped, corroded, or missing to restore proper panel alignment and fit.
