Chuck G Savannah , GA January 22, 2017 The door gasket had a rip in it I called an appliance repair company. They use a flat rate billing system which I don't like. They told me it will cost around $250.00 to replace the gasket and I would have to move my machine out so he would have room to repair it. He said the part would be in in 5 days. I found you on line, ordered the part for around $69.00 and to my delight there was a video on how the repairs should be done. The video was very professionally done and I watched it twice just to memorize the procedure. The part came in two days, it was the right part the first try and I had it in and finished in about 45 minutes without moving the machine at all. I scored big points with my wife in the bargain! It was not a complicated job once you see how the front panel and top come off to reveal the screws that hold the front on. I probably would have given up if the fastener locations hadn't been revealed to me in the video. Super service and the video is brilliant! David S Sacramento , CA October 13, 2014 Appliance: Model WM2701HV No power and door leaked Replaced control board, cold water solenoid valve and door to tub seal. Youtube has all of the how to videos to make these repairs. The solenoid had an obvious internal leak which probably damaged the control board. The door seal had a tiny leak so I replaced it as well. The seal was the hardest part to replace because I did not have a spring expander tool to replace the spring loaded wire clamps. Having the spring expansion tool would make that job much easier. Michael B Swampscott , MA January 14, 2022 N/a One of the drum springs broke and caused the front gasket to be compromised. I ordered the gasket, round clamps and two new drum springs. The new inner clamp was the wrong size and the original clamp had to be used. Videos were helpful but those are produced under perfect conditions. My repair took a bit longer and was successful, and hopefully the washer will last another 5 years.
