Ordered the drain hose (it's a 'special', so need the same part, not a standard one from the hardware store. Appliance parts pros was the only one I could find to get me the part the next day. Robert P Folsom , CA March 27, 2022 The dishwasher was not draining completely. Pulsed when draining. Replaced the drain pump and flapper valve. Very easy job. Since I was doing this, I replaced the drain hose too. To have the complete drain system replaced. Replacing the drain hose took the most time, but still easy since I had the dishwasher out of the cabinet. Total time, from pulling it out of the cabinet to starting rinse cycle to check for leaks, 2 hours and no leaks, drains like new. I was super stressed about getting my part because it meant leaving my dishwasher disconnected (and therefore sink not usable) due to a screw up on the part of a shady handiman…well, the part arrived next day (even though I didn’t do next day shipping) and I was able to follow the instructions video to put it on myself in about 10-15 min and have it all reconnected and washing dishes without having to pay someone to come do it for me!
