Roger Y Lutz , FL September 15, 2019 Appliance: Kenmore Microwave 72167909600 Light bulb in microwave convection oven burnt out Unplugged microwave. Took the cover off microwave 6 screws 4 Philips and 2 Torx security screws. I found bulb unplugged bulb and removed Phillips head screw holding it in place. Typed in info on bulb in google and it came up in appliance parts pro. I ordered bulb with 2 days shipping bulb arrived in 2 days. The bulb has an alignment hole so it only fits one way. Plugged in new bulb installed bulb in hole and replaced Phillips screw. The case must be removed. Must be careful to remove all case screws and do not bend or tweak the case. The bulb is located top right as you face the microwave. The bulb assembly is held in with one screw. Easy to remove. Do not touch any other part. Install the new one. Install the case.
