Description

The stator assembly is the stationary coil pack of the washer's direct-drive motor. Replacing a failed stator restores the electromagnetic drive that turns the drum for reliable start-up, rotation, and full spin performance.

• Generates the magnetic field that drives the rotor to turn the tub
• Works with the rotor and speed sensor to control drum speed and direction
• Helps resolve no-spin/no-tumble, weak or intermittent spin, or motor humming without rotation
• Visible winding damage or scorching can indicate stator failure

What's included: One stator assembly. Install notes:

• Disconnect power and water; allow components to cool before servicing
• Remove the rear panel and the rotor before unbolting the stator; protect wiring from strain
• Transfer any sensors/wiring from the original stator as needed; seat connectors fully
• Tighten mounting bolts evenly and verify proper rotor-to-stator clearance before reassembly
