Lydia F Willimantic , CT June 07, 2016 Appliance: Model LG WM0642HW Growling noise coming from the rear of the drum of my lg wm0642hw front load washing machine I followed the video that was posted on your website, very informative and easy to follow. Only problem was, was the drum and bearings refused to separate, even after a week of applying rust buster and using a 5 lb sledge hammer and 2x4 wood. Spoke with one of your exceedingly helpful assistants on the phone and he gave me the only other option was to replace the rear drum assembly and the inner drum. So easy!! It's back together and running! I now can revel in clean laundry! I only have to make sure about any loose wiring because it's got a slight thumping noise and slight wobble during the spin cycle... but at least, I have clean laundry!!
