This replacement part looks nothing like the original because the original is two parts, the replacement is one part. The original has a switch with 3 wires coming out of it that go into a "block" screwed to the bottom tray. And this "block" has 2 wires that come out of it going to the fan. Being cautious, I ordered new burner controls (infinity switches) for the front two burners. I installed them and was very happy with the results. The new controls allowed me to increase or decrease the amount of heat without what you might call thermal runaway (A sudden switch to full-on).
