Modern Maid Switch

This float switch detects rising water in the refrigerator drain pan or lower cabinet area and signals the appliance control to help prevent overflow and water damage. Use it to replace a failed or intermittent water-level sensor. What it does:

• Senses high water level in the drain pan or collection area and closes the circuit to alert the control.

• Disconnect electrical connector gently and note orientation before installing the replacement; secure wiring and verify float moves freely.
• Restore power and run a short test cycle or simulate water level to ensure proper operation.
