Description

The snowblower auger cable initiates operation of the snowblower’s auger similar to the cable on the handle of a push mower. To start the snowblower, the control handle must be squeezed. This engages the snowblower auger cable to allow the auger to begin turning. When the snowblower auger cable is broken, the snowblower cannot work because the auger will not turn. The length of this snowblower auger cable is 47.48 inches. It is made from high-quality rubber insulation of a metal wire. A pair of pliers and a wrench are needed to complete the repair. If the snowblower still does not work after replacing the snowblower auger cable, check the shear pin as these are prone to breaking and will also prevent the auger from turning.
