This replacement transformer steps down household 120VAC, 60Hz power to the low voltage used by the appliance's electronic control. Replacing a failed transformer can restore power to the display/clock and control circuits so cooking functions respond properly. What it does:

• Converts 120VAC line power to low-voltage for the control board/clock and related circuits
• Helps provide stable power to the display and control relays
