This bake element replaces the lower heating element in electric ovens to restore even baking and broiling performance. It heats the oven interior so food cooks through and reaches set temperatures reliably. What it does:

Light socket assembly houses your oven bulb and provides electrical connections to illuminate the interior. Replace when bulb won't stay secure or light fails.
Color: clear. Measures about 3 inches in diameter.
Seals the light lens to the oven cavity, blocking heat, steam, and grease from the bulb housing. Replace if cracked, brittle, or missing. Confirm fit.
Original Whirlpool light bulb, 40 watt.
Symptoms of needing to replace the light bulb include:
Convection fan motor.
Meat temperature probe.
Replacement broiler pan set for ovens. Includes pan and insert to catch drippings during broiling. Order if your original is missing, warped, or damaged.
